Markie Post

Markie Post grew-up in Walnut Creek. She began her career as a film and TV producer, including "The New Card Sharks", (1978), and "Card Sharks," (1986). She continued to produce projects such as Double Dare (1976), and has been featured on many TV shows, including E! True Hollywood Story (1996) and Electra Woman (2000). Perhaps she is most well-known for her role as "Christine Sullivan" in the show, a Night Court star (1984). From 1984 until 1992, she was in 156 episodes. Marylee (Armstrong) Post was her mother. She was a noted poet and nuclear scientist Richard Freeman Post (November 14, 1918-April 7, 2015). She had two daughters with her second husband Michael A. Ross: Katie Ross (born June 26 in 1987) and Daisy Ross (born March 30 in 1990). Her birthplace was Palo Alto, California and grew up near Walnut Creek in California. Was a student at Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek, California; she was an athlete. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Lewis & Clark College, Portland Oregon. She was trick roping in The Wildest West Show of the Stars (1986). Was cremated and her remains were returned to her husband Michael A. Ross. She was a lifelong Democrat. Markie Post, who was three months from her 71st birthday on the 4th of November, 2021, died on August 7. She was just 27 days from Charles Robinson, Night Court (1984) and her co-star , who died on July 11 the 11th of July, 2020. While the two shows were not connected, Night Court (1984), ended with Christine Sullivan's character relocating to Washington DC. Hearts Afire (1992) was the first show to introduce Post as Georgie Lahti. Post was a new character in Hearts Afire (1992), after which she relocated into a smaller town following her work in Washington DC.
