Michelle Lynn Monaghan Bio

Michelle Lynn Monaghan (born March 23, 1976) is an American actress. Her leading roles include Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) and Gone Baby Gone (2008). She was also known for Gone Baby Gone (2008), Made of Honor (2008) and Trucker (2008). Source Code (2011), Pixels (2015) and Patriots Day (2016). She played Julia Meade, the main character in the Mission: Impossible action-spy show Mission: Impossible (2006), Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011), Mission: Impossible Fallout (2018) was recognized. Monaghan also starred in True Detective's first season (2014) in the first season of True Detective as Maggie Hart. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award, Best Supporting Actress. In the drama The Path, a drama series The Path (2016), she was the lead as Sarah Lane. Monaghan was the character Eva Geller on the 2020 Netflix thriller series Messiah. The show was cancelled after just one season. Monaghan was the child of Sharon Hammel (a factory worker) in Winthrop. Bob and John are her older brothers. Monaghan is a Catholic with Irish and German heritage and has graduated from East Buchanan High School, 1994. After graduation, she moved to Chicago to study journalism at Columbia College Chicago and began to model. She has modelled in Milan and Tokyo, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Hong Kong, Tokyo and the United States. With one semester remaining to finish her journalism degree in 1999, she departed for New York to pursue an acting career. Before becoming an actor, she worked as a model and appeared in a variety of catalogs and magazines. Her first TV credits, as a supporting character, were for episodes of Young Americans in 2000. In "Consent", Monaghan played the role as Caroline Busse. She also appeared on Law & Order: Special Victims unit in that episode. On the 19th of January 2001, she was featured in "Consent". That same year, her big-screen debut was in Perfume as Henrietta. In 2002, she appeared again in a supporting role in Unfaithful with Richard Gere & Diane Lane.
