Abbie Cornish is an Australian actress from Australia. When she was 13 years old, she started modeling, before getting at 15 she got her first acting job. Film and TV shows were soon followed. Cornish is best known for her roles as courtier Bess Throckmorton in the historical film 'Elizabeth: the Golden Age', as the heroin addict who plays the lead in "Candy," Lindy in the sci-fi thriller 'Limitless' and Fanny Brawne in the biopic 'Bright Star'. Cornish is famous for her performances on television's 'Outriders' and 'Marking Time. Cornish, the rapper and singer, has been performing as MC Dusk since 2000. Born in New South Wales and raised together with three brothers and one sister, she had an average childhood until her parents separated when she was just 16. Abbie is a strong woman who managed to move on from the painful divorce of her parents. The Australian beauty loves playing guitar and piano though she favors acting over everything other activities. Cornish is a vegan who sticks to her beliefs who supports animal rights. She also donates money to the animal rights movement at times. Abbie Cornish was born in Lochinvar (New South Wales), Australia on 7 August 1982. Abbie Cornish is the second of five children of Barry and Shelley Cornish. She is the elder sister of Isabelle Corish who is also an actress. The actress was in a relationship once with Ryan Phillippe, an actor she dated between 2006 and 2010.
