Ava DuVernay and Autumn Riley

The birth of DuVernay's daughter was on the 24th of August on the 24th of August, 1972, in Long Beach California. When she was a young girl, DuVernay's aunt Denise encouraged her passion for artistic expression and creative thinking. The aunt who was a night shift nurse, let her explore art and literature as well as the theater during daylight hours. DuVernay was captivated by the 1961 film West Side Story after her aunt recommended the film to DuVernay. DuVernay learned by example the power of art as a vehicle for activism. Similarly DuVernay's mother was conscious of her social status and influenced that she could express her thoughts through the arts. DuVernay was a child together with her parents in Compton, spent each summer in Lowndes County Alabama in the family home of her father. Her father was awed by the historical civil rights marches through the Edmund Pettus Bridge in the nearby town Selma Alabama. The time spent in Selma, Alabama during the summer, would later inspire her to direct a movie about The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as well as his Civil Rights Movement. In the year 1990, DuVernay completed her studies at Saint Joseph High School in Lakewood California. She attended University of California Los Angeles to obtain degrees in English as well as African American Studies. DuVernay developed an interest in journalistic broadcasting while in school. She was an CBS News intern during the O.J. Simpson trial. DuVernay was tasked to look-out and search for the house of an individual member of the Jury. She was disappointed by the journalism assignments she was assigned and chose to move into the public relations industry. DuVernay began her career as a junior publicity assistant at a small film studio, right after graduating from the college. She founded The DuVernay Agency, her company for public relations in 1999. Apart from PR, the agency created several lifestyle networks including Urban Beauty Collective, Urban Thought Collective Urban Eye, HelloBeautiful. Autumn Riley.............................Autumn Riley was born in Los Angeles United States. Autumn Riley has the birth actress of. Her fame is due to her role in American Experience, (1987) A More Perfect Union and A More Perfect Union (2009). Autumn has appeared as Rose in A More Perfect Union (2009) as well as Anna Payne, in American Experience (1987).
