Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Anne Vincie (born on December 10, 1987) is a American journalist and sportscaster. She works for the Fox NASCAR team as a reporter, and is a presenter on their weekly news and update show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's passion for stock car racing started after she was granted a pit lane pass, and after graduation from Christopher Newport University, she was a reporter at Langley Speedway. Vincie's own NASCAR video blogs were published on SceneDaily which is a stock car racing site. Vincie was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on December 10, 1987. Her family relocated to Warrenton shortly after Vincie began high school. She is the daughter and granddaughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's grandmother Eleanor N. Logan was an educator for the fifth grade when her grandfather was on faculty of Bridgewater College. Journalism was something she'd always had an interest in from the age of a child. Vincie was a graduate of Fauquier High School. She was a track and field events, as well as worked as a coach of the school's team in wrestling for four years. Vincie won in the 800-meter event of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie met Al Pearce, who mentored her. He also gave her lots of information. In 2010 she completed her degree at Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's in communications. Vincie worked as an intern at the athletics department of the university. Vincie also held a similar role at the USAR Pro Cup Series, Charlotte Motor Speedway. After securing a pit-lane access to the NASCAR All-Star Race, Vincie wrote her senior thesis on the gender gap in auto racing. Her influences include Wendy Venturini, Krista Volda and Wendy Venturini.
